GRADUATION!

On June 11, BMW-Boy-turned-Producer-Boy graduated from UCLA with an MFA in Producing for Film and Television. Wahoo! His father and brother came to join us for the weekend. Our celebrations were light and toned down. For some reason a graduate degree doesn't incite a fraction of the excitement a bachelor's degree does.

The actual ceremony was lovely, and surprisingly short and lively. Theater/Film/Television people are boisterous, especially the undergrads. It was funny to see how crazy-out-of-control-excited they were in comparison to the seasoned (and perhaps a little jaded?) graduate students.

One way or the other, we are HAPPY the hubby has closed this chapter of his life!
