Aloha! Arrival and Michael's BYU-Hawaii Graduation

The husband and I joined his family in Hawaii for his brother Michael's graduation. It was the first time in 7 years the whole family had been together - a long overdue vacation for all of us. We stayed in Kaneohe, on the east side of Oahu and went to Kailua Beach the day we arrived.

Michael graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Business and is on his way to Pace University for an MFA at the Actor's Studio this fall. The day of his graduation we ate lunch at a hole-in-the-wall outdoor diner, Romy's Shrimp and Prawns. That was an adventure eating prawns/shrimp that had been caught that day and barely cooked!
