Adventures of selecting our first live Christmas tree...

And my holiday corner than makes me oh so happy.
(Yes, those are cinnamon pinecones. We've never had those in our home before, and for some reason it puts a smile on my face every time I walk past them.)
This little Nativity Set is a few years shy of 30 years old. My mother made these little figurines with/for me when I was in preschool. Everything is original (including that toothpick manger!) except the sheep and the angel. The angel is part of a set of angel Christmas tree decorations my sister Jenn made for her bedroom tree when she was very young. It works for my little peg people Nativity Set, doesn't it. I still have the
A-frame "stable," but this one works better for this little scene.
